FAQ

Q: I’ve been to the market before, and it tends to be pretty tight in there, what about social distancing?

 

A: It certainly does tend to be a bit crammed in the market! That’s why we’ve done a bit of aisle-widening to allow more space in between customers. We will also be limiting the number of customers allowed in-store in order to ensure appropriate physical distancing measures throughout our market/garden centre.

 

Q: Can I bring my reusable grocery/produce bags?

 

A: Not for the time being. In order to keep our staff safe, and to avoid the spread of germs, we won’t be allowing the use of reusable grocery bags or reusable produce bags in the store. 

 

Q: I don’t feel comfortable shopping in public spaces, what can I do?

A: For the next few days, we ask that you solicit the help of friends and loved ones to shop for you. That said, we are working hard to finalize our online Ordering/Curbside pickup system. Stay tuned for future announcements and details.

 

Q: Will I be able to buy flowers, plants, and gardening goods?

A: Yes! In addition to reconfiguring our garden centre layout to allow for more space in between customers, we will soon introduce an Online Order Form for Contactless Pickup of Plants. Stay tuned for future announcements and details.

 

Q: Can I get groceries, plants, and gardening goods delivered?

A: While we are planning on introducing delivery at a future date, we are not doing deliveries at this time.

 

Q: Will you be taking cash?

A: We strongly recommend the use of contactless payment such as tap in order to prevent the spread of germs. We will still be taking cash if absolutely necessary. 

 

Q: Can I swing by the market with my roommates for a little shopping visit?

A: Sadly, no. As much as possible, please designate one shopper per household at a time in order to limit foot traffic and reduce the risk of spreading germs. 

 

Q: What are your hours of operations? 

A: Our hours remain the same in order to spread the concentration of shoppers throughout a long enough period. 

Mon - Sat: 9 am to 9 pm

Sun: 9 am to 6 pm

 

Q: Can I still fill up my Kombucha growler/howler at the market?

A: At the moment, our Kombucha refill station is closed. We will try to reopen it as soon as it is safe to do so. 

 

Q: Will I be able to return my glass milk jugs and Chaeban ice cream jars?

A: Yes! We will have a crate on the floor at check out inside which you can drop off your reusable containers. Just let the staff know, and you should have your deposit refunded.

A: We thank you for your support in these unprecedented times, and we are incredibly grateful that you chose to support local producers as well as small local businesses during this pandemic. Things may be a little different this year, but we'll be back before you know it!

     Like every sentence we read nowadays seems to remind us, we are in rather unique times. This year, while some things may feel a little bit different, we aim to make your experience visiting our market just as awesome as ever.
     We are planning on opening the market in about one month. 

     Things that will remain the same: 
     We will still be open 7 days a week offering you all sorts of delicious local goodies. We will still be selling all kinds of beautiful plants and flowers and gardening goods. We will still be bustling with energy and kindness as you visit our family business during these hard times. 

     Things that will be a little different:
     We will have to limit the amount of customers allowed in the market at one time, and will be implementing physical distancing measures in all facets of our market's shopping experience. Your safety, comfort, and that of our staff is our utmost priority. We are also developing options for online and/or contactless orders. (More concrete details to come)

     In all this chaos, we can sometimes forget the most important things in life: safety, smiles, and eating good food. Here's to hoping we can soon help you out with all three.

     On dirait que toutes les choses qu'on lit ces temps-ci nous rappellent une seule chose: nous vivons une période sans pareil. Bien que cette saison sera sans doute très unique, nous cherchons à s'assurer que votre expérience en visitant notre marché soit tout aussi plaisante. 
     Nous visons ouvrir le marché dans près d'un mois.

     Les choses qui ne changeront pas: 
     Comme toujours, nous serons ouverts 7 jours par semaine afin de vous offrir une merveilleuse sélection de produits frais, locaux, et délectables. Nous allons toujours offrir plein de produits jardinier telles que de magnifiques plantes et fleurs. Nous continuerons de vous accueillir chaleureusement dans notre petit commerce familial avec un sourire et notre bonne humeur. 

     Les choses qui vont changer:
     Nous allons devoir limiter le montant de client permis en même temps à l'intérieur du marché. De plus, nous allons implémenter des mesures de distanciation physique dans chaque aspect de notre entreprise. Le confort et la sécurité de nos clients et de notre équipe d'employés est notre priorité principale. Nous développons aussi des options d'achats sans contacte/en ligne. (Les détails seront à suivre.)

     Dans cette période tumultueuse, c'est possible d'oublier les choses les plus importantes dans la vie: la santé, les sourires, et de la bonne bouffe. On espère pouvoir vous aider avec tout ça très bientôt!
